As a longtime member of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association, this is not the first time that PinPoint Construction has won Parade of Homes awards. From 2005 on, the company under Scottie Ruiz has earned a well-deserved reputation for building some of the finest luxury homes in the Rio Grande Valley.
The RGVBA is proud to present this year’s Parade Award Winners. We congratulate the 19 builders who participated in this event. These were the top winners.
Utilizing earthy colors combined with a contemporary aesthetic, Pinpoint Construction created a 2 story Tuscan style home that was awarded “Best Home: $501K-550K,” “Best Kitchen,” and “Best Master Bed & Bath” in the 2021 RGVBA Parade of Homes.
With a history of building homes as early as the 1980’s, LTR Construction is by no means a new company. However, this was the first time that the company submitted an entry into the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association’s annual Parade of Homes…and won the competition’s two top awards: “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice”!
Waldo Homes, for many years, has consistently won awards in the annual RGV Parade of Homes, and this year is no different. Two Waldo Homes entries secured three top honors: “Best Home: $251K-300K”; “Best Home: $451K-500K”; and “Most Energy Efficient Home.”
State-of-the-art in both design and quality, a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath new home entry by Homes by Innovative secured the “Best Home Over $900K” award in the 2021 Parade of Homes. The two-story Transitional exterior design with its gray tile roof, white stone and stucco, expansive windows, and custom arched iron and glass entry door, is a masterpiece of beauty.
Want to know what an award-winning “Best Home: $301K-350K” looks like? EB Luxury Homes designed and built a distinctive 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home that earned them this award in the 2021 Parade of Homes.
For anyone who enjoys the nostalgia of a country farmhouse but needs modern conveniences, Villa Homes’ award winner in the “Best Home: $351K-400K” category is spot on.
Carolina Homes garnered the award for “Best Home $201K-250K” category for its sleek, contemporary Mediterranean-themed home. The exterior—pristine white with warm river rock, linear windows, and squared turret—is minimalist in design and maximal in crisp, clean beauty.
These homes and the communities where they are located represent what most homebuyers want—peace of mind, doubled.
Once new homes are completed and are open for showing, it may be too late to know for sure if they are quality-built homes. Yes, you will be able to see the finishes of the home and you will be able to see differences from home to home in details like enhanced materials, and luxury touches like granite countertops, designer ceilings, and showcase light fixtures.
Old World meets New in this stunning Spanish/Mediterranean masterpiece by Waldo Homes, perfectly located in the exclusive gated community of Sorrento Trail on Northgate in Edinburg, an area that offers both tranquility and convenience.
A stately double door with overhead transom welcomes visitors to this outstanding Waldo home located in the gated community of Lumens, an area surrounded by the lush green fairways of the Los Lagos Golf Course in Edinburg, Texas, and constructed with energy savings in mind, thanks to being certified as a BUILT TO SAVE® home.
The exterior of this new Villanueva home in Windsor Estates is discreetly traditional in design with its soft creamy tan brick and limestone, accented by deep brown beams and roof, and a custom-designed double doorway of coffee brown wood and glass.
This notable home by Gomez 3 Construction, set in an ideally located natural gas and gated community right off North McColl and Canton in Edinburg, represents all that is celebrated with contemporary Spanish design.
The main reason people prefer to buy a new home over an old one is fairly simple—we all prefer a home that no one else has lived in before. It’s no different than when buying a car.
One of the biggest challenges in buying a new home is the down payment. This is the amount of money you need to put down on your home at closing. The down payment will affect the amount you have to borrow, the type of loan, and terms and conditions—especially the interest rate on your loan.
The Rio Grande Valley’s annual Parade of Homes is just around the corner. Scheduled for June 12-13 & 19-20, the 2021 RGVBA Parade of Homes will showcase some of the most stunning homes in the Rio Grande Valley. The homes will be open, with no admission fees, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the Parade dates.
