The 2025 South Texas Builders Show, held Saturday, May 31, at the McAllen Convention Center, marked a highly successful second year as the Rio Grande Valley’s premier event for the residential and commercial construction industry.

With record-breaking attendance and exhibitor participation, the one-day trade show brought together builders, contractors, suppliers, and service providers from across the region. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with key industry decision-makers and explore the latest innovations in construction, materials, energy efficiency, and design. Educational seminars on energy code compliance and high-performance homebuilding added valuable insight for professionals looking to stay ahead of the curve.

A major highlight of the day was the excitement surrounding nearly 50 giveaway prizes hosted by individual exhibitors, along with a grand prize $500 gift card drawing for one lucky attendee who pre-registered online.

A big shoutout goes to Paco Vielma (Southpoint Systems), whose creative web strategies and marketing helped double this year’s turnout.
