SPEER joins BUILT TO SAVE®
The BUILT TO SAVE® High-Performance Home Program is proud to welcome the South-Central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER) as one of its newest members. SPEER is a regional energy efficiency organization with the mission of promoting and developing the understanding and adoption of advanced building systems and energy efficient products and services in the Texas / Oklahoma region. The organization’s goals of increasing energy efficiency align perfectly with the goals of the BUILT TO SAVE® program.
SPEER offers valuable education, training, and assistance to code officials, builders, contractors, and others in the construction industry. The organization’s contributions and success have made it the industry resource for policy makers, professionals, and consumers in the region. SPEER’s collaboration with the BUILT TO SAVE® program will provide excellent opportunities for continuing up-to-date education and training for home builders in the Rio Grande Valley—and ultimately a better quality of life for our residents. Members of SPEER include utility providers, builders, developers, product and services businesses, organizations, and public sector officials.
