This certification is a recognition of Barrera’s expertise in inspecting and evaluating residential energy plans, ensuring they comply with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

The International Code Council (ICC) is the authoritative body that awards the Residential Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner certificate. Recipients of this certification have successfully demonstrated their proficiency through a rigorous written examination based on the prevailing codes and standards. As a RESNET licensed Rater, Barrera is authorized to perform City Code Testing, issue Certificates of Occupancy (C of O), conduct Blower Door & Duct Leakage testing, provide Energy Efficiency Mortgage Certification (EEM), and perform Heat Load Calculations for Manuals J, D, & F.
