Divine Custom Homes Receives 2018 AEP Texas Award

Divine Custom Homes Receives 2018 AEP Texas Award

Divine Custom Homes was once again recognized by AEP Texas for building the home with the highest kWh savings from among those entered in its High-Performance Homes Program for 2018. The award is not new to Olga Treviño, the company’s builder/owner, having received it last year, as well.

Kilowatt-hours is the term used to measure of how much electricity is used by a home and is abbreviated as “kWh.” Most utility providers bill their customers based on the number of kilowatt-hours used monthly, multiplied by a rate, which most often appears as “cents per kWh” on the utility bill.

As the Rio Grande Valley’s only 100% ENERGY STAR® builder, Divine Custom Homes is truly a market leader of energy efficient construction.  And awards like the one from AEP Texas for the top energy efficient home in 2018 is a testament to the company’s commitment to superior quality construction.
