IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL EVENT

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the Rio Grande Valley’s annual Parade of Homes that was originally scheduled for April has now been rescheduled for August 1-2 (virtual tours only) & 8-9 (virtual tours available. In-person tours if permitted by authorities).

In addition to the homes being open for Parade visitors who pass the screening questions and agree to the terms listed here, the homes will also be available in a virtual tour format that will allow anyone to visit them from the safety of their home, should stay-at-home orders be in effect.

The Parade of Homes will feature 29 stunning new homes from some of the Valley’s finest builders who are competing for Parade awards in a variety of building industry categories. If you are shopping for a home, or planning to buy one in the near future, this is one event you don’t want to miss.

Parade online and in-person visitors will be in for a visual treat. The RGVBA Parade of Homes will showcase homes of all sizes, architectural styles, designs, and budgets, with multiple locations in various new home communities throughout cities in the upper Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to visit them in person or online and take advantage of the opportunity to talk with builders, mortgage representatives, and consultants who can provide valuable knowledge to help you achieve your dream of home ownership.

This yearly event is an excellent opportunity to discover the newest trends in exterior and interior designs, as well as the beautiful, stylish building materials on the market today. With so many homes to see, the Parade of Homes Preview below will help you make the best use of your time by helping you map out the routes to the homes that fit your needs the most.

Of special note: you will be able to download the “RGVBA Parade” app to get information and driving instructions for each home. Be aware that the locations of some of these homes are new and most likely not available on Google maps, so your best option is to use the Parade app for directions.

Additionally, using the app will allow you to rate each home. The collective ratings of the homes will be used to determine which home wins the “People’s Choice” award. Best of all, every time you rate a home, you will be entered into the RGVBA’s giveaway promotion where you can win one of two prizes to be given away at the end of the Parade–a large screen TV and a Jacuzzi valued at $1,000!

Enjoy a Sneak Peek of this year’s Entries!

2 Ways to Experience the Parade:

In recognition that some people may prefer not to attend the Parade due to the Coronavirus /COVID-19 pandemic, the Parade of Homes will be available online for their convenience.

These are challenging times for all of us, and we urge our Parade visitors to follow the safety precautions issued by the RGVBA, the CDC, and our local health officials. Let’s stay safe, and we will all get through this difficult time together. Visit www.RGVBA.org for more information and download the RGVBA Parade app available after July 25. For the convenience of those not comfortable with attending, or if needed, the Parade Homes entries will be featured in virtual tours available online at http://www.parade.rgvba.org after August 1, 2020.
