Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI) was established in 1976 following a survey by the City of McAllen Planning Department, which revealed that numerous families were living in inadequate housing conditions. For nearly four decades, AHSTI has committed itself to enhancing these living conditions and empowering potential homebuyers to realize their dream of homeownership at affordable prices. Through its various programs, the organization continues to strive for a better quality of life for families in the region.
