Award-Winning Elegance with PinPoint Accuracy
As a longtime member of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association, this is not the first time that PinPoint Construction has won Parade of Homes awards. From 2005 on, the company under Scottie Ruiz has earned a well-deserved reputation for building some of the finest luxury homes in the Rio Grande Valley. And the awards for its new home entry in the 2021 RGVBA Parade of Homes are a testament to PinPoint’s reputation as a leader in the luxury custom home building industry.
And while it was indeed a team effort, it is important to note that Scottie Ruiz is personally involved in every project. He does not limit his duties and responsibilities to just being the owner of the company who spends his time in the office. He is typically on the jobsite making sure that projects are on schedule and that the quality of the work being done is up to his strict standards.
With construction projects all over Hidalgo County and stretching as far as Harlingen and South Padre Island in Cameron County, Scottie spends most of his time out of the office doing what he does best for his customers—keeping an eye on the construction of their homes.
PinPoint Construction offers a turnkey service. What that means is they can assist homebuyers through everything from site selection, floorplans and design, material selection, and even financing through working with preferred lenders.
Their construction flexibility allows them to build homes for a variety of budgets, whether they are for first-time buyers or buyers wanting to upgrade to a larger home. More importantly, rather than impose their styles, designs, or ideas on customers, the company views itself more like a “vessel”—one that will help to transport customers to the ideal of what they envision their home to be.
Scottie Ruiz is a second-generation builder following in the footsteps of his father. He recalls building his first home at the age of 19—an impressive accomplishment to be sure. And one of the most memorable moments in his early career as a builder was the tremendous happiness he saw in a very young couple when he gave them the keys to their new home—something, he said, they had only dreamed of but never thought they would have.
Building homes is indeed a taxing process. And building superior homes using high-quality products is even more so. But for Scottie Ruiz, what makes the process worthwhile is remembering who he is doing this for, and just like the young couple above, what it means for his homebuyers—a home of happiness for a lifetime.
As part of PinPoint Construction’s commitment to superior construction, the company has recently become a member of the BUILT TO SAVE® program to certify its homes as high-performance. PinPoint Construction offers residential and commercial construction throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
